RESOLUTION #26-02

RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE Maxwell Park and Recreation DISTRICT, COUNTY OF COLUSA, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, ORDERING AN ELECTION TO BE HELD AND REQUESTING CONSOLIDATION WITH THE NOVEMBER 3, 2026 GENERAL DISTRICT ELECTION

WHEREAS, an election will be held November 3, 2026, in the Maxwell Park and Recreation District for the purpose of electing District Directors at large to fill 2 positions (two 4-year terms), and 1 position (two 2-year term)

WHEREAS, the District Directors of said District hereby request consolidation with any election that may be held on the same day, the same territory, or in territory that is in part of the same.

WHEREAS, the District is requesting the Colusa County Clerk-Recorder Registrar of Voters conduct the election and the District agrees to reimburse the County for the cost of services provided with regard to conducting such election;

WHEREAS, the District Directors of said District have adopted the policy to solve tie votes by means of a single coin toss, where the candidate that was assigned the face-up side is declared the winner.
